So I'm trying to develop the idea and hopefully come up with something saleable. They're fun to make as it's a challenge to get the right mix of beads on each star, the colours and sizes and enough variety to make them interesting. The only problem I've got so far is in getting the points of the stars to be the same length and width. Some of the points end up longer or skinnier than others!
Apart from that I've been getting on with some patchwork and watching 'Foyle's War' on ITV's iplayer. They really are extremely well written dramas, and wonderful evocations of that time in Britain's history.
On the film front I fully intend not to see '50 Shades of Grey' despite the marketing overdrive that's trying to make us believe every woman in the land is desperate to get a ticket for it. I did see 'Selma', the film about Martin Luther King, which featured an amazing performance from its leading man and was a much worthier offering than E L James's smutty codswallop.
