Dear 'Diary' ....
I'm slowly getting content together to put on this site, but I admit to being the Queen of Procrastination and need to 'get a wiggle on'.
As well as sorting out this site I'm trying to come up with some needlepoint kits. That's not something I have any experience with. I don't think making up the kits in itself is difficult, but for me it's more about the 'thinking' side of it.
If I make the kits, will other people think they're good enough? Will anyone buy them? Will the designs be thought original or boring, fun or yawn-inducing? How do I work out the purchase price, and what's a realistic profit margin?
Part of the whole procrastination thing is that if I don't finish making up the kits, I don't ever get faced with the problem of no one liking them or buying them.
Same thing with my 'creative writing'. If I don't finish writing that play or that novel, or if I write it but never submit it to a publisher, then no one can judge it and find it lacking.
What a wuss, huh? I need a course of positive thinking and a swift kick up the derriere!
