I had a go at a wire-work star a while ago, and enjoyed messing about with pliers, wire and beads. But I ran out of thin wire - until today. Aha! I found just what I wanted, some pliable, silver coloured wire, cheap as chips in a discount place that wasn't a million miles away from a Pound shop.

A bit sparse with the beads, but not too bad. However, the second effort looks better, if you'd care to scroll on down the page ....
I found wrapping the beads around the star easier as I went on, so the third attempt should be another improvement.
I reckon wrapping wire and beads around a small tea light holder would be good too, either the clear glass or the frosted glass ones. Might try that.
Anybody tried making beaded stars like this? If so, what's your best tip? Better still, let's see a photo of them.
